      I have a 2021 diesel and no issues so far, knock on wood. It’s only got about 8k miles on it though and isn’t my DD. The majority of those miles are to and from the trails.

      I’m running a SilencerCo hybrid and use Rugged’s 3 lug mount. Rugged’s is slightly cheaper and sits flush with the can’s base whereas SilencerCo’s adds a couple inches

      I also have a PTR and it’s easily my favorite gun to shoot. It goes on almost every range trip. Running it with 147gr and a can is just too much fun. Highly recommend picking one up if anyone is on the fence.

      I’ve never shot a 7, but I wouldn’t think there’s a significant difference on 308. I just chose the 9 in the event I decided to get a magnum in the future where it would be preferable for a bit more length. I went with the brake mount vs direct thread just in case I ever did shoot unsuppressed...

      Getting a barrel threaded

      For an AR it may be just as cheap and easier to buy a new barrel rather than have an existing one threaded. For bolt actions, I've had AllenM do a couple and I believe it was around $150ish or so for him do it.

      Parabellum nfa fee?

      I’ve purchased several through SilencerShop and used Parabellum for the transfer with no additional fees. They also have the kiosk for easy fingerprints and will let you shoot them while in jail. Parabellum is a bit of a drive for me from Franklin , but I definitely recommend them.
