Well, since you stripped off the old finish, you should do a new finish. Stain it, or somehow seal the wood to protect it. Is that a purchase from PSA?- Nightboard

Tokarev broke it's hammer.
I am envious of that Russian Tok. Those are what I had my eye on, but Russian tok's are easily twice and three times the price of this Norinco. I know Norinco is hit and miss with their firearms.
