      Washer done. Tech looked at it and confirmed the drain pump is bad. Then, he did some tech magic and got it to run a spin cycle and said the bearings for the drum are about ready to go and that is an $1800 fix. So.....new washer and dryer time. My wife is on with Nason's now.

      The washer is 15 years old, first breakdown. We bought the washer and the dryer at the same time, the dryer had one repair about a year after we got it. We've had a pretty good run with these two.

      Washing machine took a dump. I think it's the pump that drains the tank prior to the spin cycles.
