      AR buffer tube question

      I just got a RRA pistol buffer tube in the mail. It has a dimple in the back that looks like it should be a hole. After looking over my other rifle buffer tubes they all have a hole. Seems like there should be a hole there. Should I go ahead and drill it out?

      Lining up a gas block?

      Is there a good method to line up a gas block on a AR? I have a DD clamp on block that gave me fits for awhile. I tore everything down, stuck my finger in the chamber and blew down the barrel, and adjusted the block as such, trying to get max flow. Is there a better way? I would think pinned...

      Daniel defense Barrels.

      I'm on the fence between a DD bbl and a BCM bbl. Price is similar. I'm leaning towards the DD because I have had good experiences with their products in the past. Bbl's in question are a 10.3 DD stripped 5.56, and an 11.5 BCM stripped. :dunno:

      Is a comp or brake necessary on an AR? I'm sure it will go bang every time. .223 recoil is not an issue to me. Muzzle flash is also non-issue. Say one had a 20 inch bbl and lopped it off to 16 leaving no threads........ Any issues? No F/H, seems ok to me. Any drawbacks? I'm sure the best...
