I really like the CZ 75 decockers, and I prefer that style of carry vs cocked and locked. There's something about an all metal DA/SA decocker, I don't know man. As a lefty, I'm not really fond of the control layout on a lot of Sigs. Haven't shot an HK or Walther yet.
My favorites:
1) CZ 75/85...
I believe the year was 2020. The bars were closed, people were rioting, assembling, hoarding tp, laying branches across the road aggressively. I was LITERALLY dying of boredom. That's when I started ordering gun parts on the internet. The result is something a call "2020 AR build". That rifle...
Can anyone give me a recommendation for stock work on a CZ in the general Fort Wayne area? I have a 527 that I'd like to get bedded. I called TM Stockworks, but he won't work on CZs.
My trigger hand does almost nothing for support. Just there to ease the trigger back as consistently as possible. Support comes from the shoulder and forehand (and/or knee, barrier, bipod, etc). For bench shooting I use a front bag or bipod, rear bag, shoulder. The support hand is placed under...
There will always be a laundry list of real or perceived existential threats. I think it's worthwhile to pay attention, observe, seek reliable and verifiable information when possible. Consider sources, re-visit and re-verify when new information is available. Be selective and moderate use of...
LOCKING FOR NOW!
WHAT: CZ 527 Carbine .223, 18.5" 1:9 twist, set trigger (2020)
DESCRIPTION:
Rifle includes one 5 rd mag and scope base/rail (I believe the base is made by DIP). I purchased this rifle used and put about 50 rounds through it.
From my limited testing, this rifle does NOT seem to...
I'm probably not in the market for a $2k handgun. I'm more the type to cajunize a $500-600 gun. But anyway, it would be interesting to see a detailed comparison and shootout between the CZ family SA models (TSO, TS2, S2 SA, DWX).
Also of note, it looks like Primary Machine already has optic...
I'm putting this out there to see if there is any interest. It's been sitting in my safe not getting a lot of love lately, and while I like it a lot, I wouldn't mind letting go of it to fund some of my current dopamine inducing projects.
WHAT: M&P 9mm Compact (1.0)

I think the consensus is that a possible counter offensive is brewing around Kherson.
I don't bounce around much, and I've yet to actually retire a carry gun. My first carry gun was an M&P9c, and I didn't add anything else to the rotation for a decade or so. At the time I bought it I was primarily comparing it to the G19/23, XD9, PX4 and P-07...and I was actually able to make an...
Some bench rest guys will use 30-50x scopes. If you're shooting paper and want to see your hits/groups at 100-150 yards that 16-24x range is nice to have. Also, since optics tend to fall apart a little bit at the end of their magnification range, you can always back it off and be in the sweet...
Pretty much nailed it.
I have the Bushnell MatchPro 6x24 on a 455 Varmint, and I'm pretty satisfied with it. My only complaints are the eye-box isn't very forgiving and the numbers are next to the hashmarks on the reticle and they can potentially get in the way (they should have put them out on...
