What you find on most new firearms, both domestic and foreign products, is NOT a lubricant.
It is more likely a preservative of some type. It may look and act like a lubricant at first, it will collect carbon, unburned powder, dirt, and dust... and eventually it will gum up.
I've seen some turn...
Two items that have been in shortage and hard to obtain of late are steel and concrete.
Where are they going to get supplies to rebuild?
The city of Lafayette is behind schedule on several projects due to a concrete shortage.
Yep.
Trusses work great for gravity, but have almost no lateral strength.
Ever see video of "Galloping Girtie"?
Better known as the Tacoma Narrows bridge.
I think it was probably cut down.
The person that gave it to me said the barrels were WAY too short ( to be legal) when he acquired it so he removed the barrels and disposed of them.
I was just given a little jewel, I think, but it's hard fir me to tell.

Another vote for the Tanfoglio Witness.
I picked up a .45acp version in the "Wonder finish" at an estate auction years ago.
The auctioneer only identified it as a Tanfoglio and never mentioned Witness.

Welcome to Ingo from Lafayette
6 years in Indiana, o.k. where did you move from?

So many questions...
Do you shoot firearms too, or just build them?
Do you like mil-surp, or just ebr's?
Do you shoot competitively...
I'm a pog.

There are rotten apples everywhere.
Thank goodness there aren't more than there are.
The Marines has never been a sanitary organization.
Any and every organization has its bad seeds.
There are outstanding examples for the Marines, Lee Harvey Oswalt being one.
One bad apple doesn't spoil the whole bunch, unless you let it rot among rest.
