      I would treat it like selling a car with modifications. If you remove any safety features put it in writing if your that concerned. Just don’t sell it to an ignorant person and you will be fine.

      Personally I’d hide it for as long as I felt comfortable doing while searching for paperwork. You didn’t know it was illegal until you confirm it doesn’t have papers.

      Used an aero lower on my ar build. Was super happy with it. Looks great. I wish I would have gotten the integrated trigger guard though.
