I currently have a Remington 700 SPS Tactical. I wish to thread the barrel for a muzzle break and later possible a suppressor. Is this something that can be done in a lathe as any machinist can turn and cut threads; or are there special techniques and process to do this right? I am a machinist...
I'm new to the site. I recently retired from the Army. I am pretty experienced in gun smithing and repair of most modern weapons. I love all firearms in the right hands. Looking forward to using this site to grow my knowledge and support others.
I have a built AR-15 pistol with 7.5 inch barrel that is shooting 12 inches right. It groups fine and with sights fully adjusted it still is 12 inches to the right. Any ideas?
