I have a 92FS and a 96A1. Incidentally the M9 platform is my favorite of all the pistols I've owned. Frankly if you can nab a FS that would be all that you would need. If you want a model with rails, get the A1.
Thanks for posting.
Saw this a while back and watched it. Informative and provides context that is usually lacking in most modern run downs of the history of the 2nd.
I own several handguns and by far my M92FS is my best and my favorite... I even like it more than my P226 Mk. 25 and H&K Mk. 23. That's how much I like Beretta.
Lucky you they at least offered to sell it to you. Years ago when I lived in Flagstaff for NPS training, I came upon a gorgeous US Model 1917 that I eagerly wanted to buy. I had cash in hand for it. For weeks the shop beat around the bush telling me they could sell to an Indiana resident (It was...
I own a Bersa Thunder 380 CC, a Springfield 911, and a FEG R61. All three are great for carrying, but I also hear a lot of good about Ruger and S&W .380s.
Well so far the width and all check out, but I'm starting to wonder if maybe the plate of the stock's attachment needs sanded. The back of the Mauser's handle got scuffed while trying to put it on.
Hi all. I have a reproduction shoulder stock for my Mauser C96 that requires fitting in order for it to go on the handle of the gun itself. Being that this an OLD gun, dated 1915-1921, I don't want to potentially ruin any part of the gun. Does anyone here know exactly what part of the shoulder...
I just ordered a repro from IMA and hopefully it will be here by the end of the week. It probably may require minor fitting too.
I chose the IMA offering because after doing some research, it seems it is made by Windlass Steelcrafts, which they had made the butt stock here in USA. I don't want...
Get rid of LaPierre, for one. Also, one thing I should mention is that Adam Kraut is running for the board and so on. Problem is that I have a VERY difficult time believing that he does not know he would still be powerless on the board. He knows very well that they have no power and ultimate say...
I bought the S&W M69 when they first came out and it was on a whim. Haven't regretted it yet. Couple of things I'd like to point out.
1. For a .44 Magnum, the recoil on this revolver is actually surprisingly civil.
2. Having tried different grips for it, you will want something other than that...
Well, when I trained for the NPS, we were issued a standard P226 for training and by and large that was what they were using in the field. Of the thousand plus rounds we put through our pistols, I don't recall a single malfunction by the gun. We were using American Eagle 9mm. I liked the gun so...
They have some .410 Bore lever action shotguns now. There are also choices in .17, .30-30, and the three calibers mentioned in this topic. .357 Magnum, .44 Magnum, and .45 LC. Those would be good starters...
