      Ruger boxes

      Someone school me on the timelines for the Ruger handgun boxes. More specifically when they started and stopped with the yellow and black boxes for the SP101 and started putting them in the gray plastic cases.

      S&W 986

      Picked up a 986 5” “Pro series” today. For a PC gun that is far from cheap the trigger leaves a lot to be desired. Fun to shoot though. I just cleaned the plate racks with it today but will get it on paper to see how it groups soon. Anyone else have any experiences on these?

      22lr prices

      What’s the going rate for 22 that you’re seeing? I just gave some to a buddy and the guy told me it’s going for .15 a round! That just seems absurd to me, glad I learned my lesson the last time and stocked up.

      Best 9mm revolver

      Who has experience with 9mm revolvers? I’m debating on an sp101 or maybe throwing down some serious cash for the snubby 986. The other option is the PC 686 snubby and forego the 9mm altogether. If you have experience with both I’d love some feedback.

      Playing around with some different ammo choices for my 4” .500. What does everyone like to shoot? I’ve been shooting the cheap (relative) magtech 440 gr but recently picked up some of the Hornady 300 gr ftx to try out.

      Chest rigs

      What’s everyone’s preference on a chest rig? I’m looking at a Kenai set up right now. Kinda nice cause it’s easy to swap out the shells and I’d be able to rotate between a .500, 686, and sp101 without needing 3 full set ups. Cheaper options??

      I’m looking for a rimfire challenge match or anything similar somewhere close to me. I found the ones in Michigan city but that’s 3 hr drive for me and my daughter. Anyone know of anything In the N central part of the state?
