H335 or Win 748 are decent rifle powders. Titegroup/High Gun works very well in pistol and light target loads for shotguns. I love Alliant powders, but since they've gone up so much in price as opposed to Hodgdon, I've been slowly transitioning.
I'm guessing the same thing. I've been looking for one for a while, but it seems the only LCP IIs are the .22LRs. However, they still have the gen 1 LCP with the crappy trigger and crappier sights. Go figure.
When I was only carrying revolvers, I found that video and adapted some of the techniques. It's kinda hard finding good demonstrations of revolver reloading...well besides the New York reload.
I'd run those in a .357 Magnum, but not my Model 10, lol. I will say, the Speer #8 .45 AR loads have intrigued me for a while. I too have a Blackhawk with both .45 Colt and .45 ACP cylinders. Last year I picked up some .45 Cowboy Special brass with the intent of trying to work up some of the...
I finished an Appleseed yesterday near Evansville. All but one of the instructors were Hoosiers. The non Hoosier was stationed at Fort Knox. Some of them have been with the program since it's inception.
I'm on a Facebook group and someone had a downed pine tree in their yard. Said whoever wanted it for firewood could come and get it. Seemed surprised when no one jumped on the offer.
I live about 15 minutes west of Louisville and I hate having to go there. If I need to go to KY to visit family (in Henry county), I prefer to take the east end bridge and not stop. I'll stay on the sunny side for as long as possible, thank you very much.
Update to this. I switched to a Mika holster away from the leather holster I was using and the rust problems seemed to have stopped. I will see if this continues.
Refilled all my gas cans before the latest bump in price. Added fuel stabilizer to them. Drained fuel from lawn implements that likely will not be used until spring. Started repairing lawn implements that needed it. Moved compost pile.
After firing a couple of buddies various LCPs (gen 1 and the Max), I picked up a Max. I like mine a lot and shoot it well. That said, I've been having rust issues with mine. Front of the slide, the mag release, and the portion of the slide that is against my waist have all gotten rust on them...
I recently picked up a P320 and while I liked the trigger pull, I was dismayed by how far left I was shooting it. Especially because I was able to switch to a Glock and a 1911 and be dead on, like I normally shoot. I was so frustrated that I went to trade the gun in. At the show, though, I...
