I made a spontaneous purchase today. It's kinda hard on the marriage, but the wife will be okay soon enough...
I went to the local gun shop here in Greenfield (recently re-opened with new owners). They had the gun I wanted right there in the case. I'm now the proud owner of the Ruger LCR in...
Hey all! The other day I hit Cabelas, and found .380 FMJ (Sellier & Bellot) for $13.90/box! I haven't seen it that cheap in ages. From what I heard from them, they have tons of it, but I'd hurry anyway if you want some. I had a pretty good experience dealing with them also. They made a...
Cabelas sent me what was supposed to be 500 rds of .380, only three of the boxes were 9mm Luger (9x19). I have no 9mm weapon, and no intention to buy one in the near future. Cabelas was gracious enough to send me three more boxes of .380 free. First person with any desire to drive to...
Well, I finally made the time to take my brand new P3AT to the range yesterday. When I purchased it, and brought it home, I ran 600 grit along the slide rails and polished the feed ramp. I'm happy to report that out of 96 rounds, I had zero ftf/fte. I inspected the weapon after the first 50...
Has anyone ever used cheaperthandirt.com for ammo purchases? They have a decent price on my ammo for my beloved Makarov, and a little bit of .380 ammo.
I just bought a Kel-Tec P3AT, and will pick it up Wednesday. I'm very excited to get it to the range. With it I bought a pocket holster, and one grip extension. Any other suggestions on what I should get with it, or do to it?
Just found this site. Have any of you seen/bought this guys work before?
Hakan's Custom Stocks :: Makarov
I'm Makarov-centric, so you'll have to follow the links back to look at the grips for the yucky non-Mak types!
I can't complain too much about the $15/box that I spend on ammo, but being a cheap b@strd, I was wondering if anybody knew any (place/person) that sells reloads for Makarov calibre weapons.
I took my eldest son with me to the range on Friday. I had recently replaced the stock 17# spring with a 19#'r. While racking the slide you can most certainly feel the difference in poundage. This is a fixed barrel weapon, so it's accurate anyway, but having a slightly larger spring helped me...
I don't know if this have been posted before, but if any of you have or want a Makarov or PA63, hit this Box-o-Truth site. Really good info!
Educational Zone #16 - Great Firearms - The 9 X 18 Makarov - Page 2
I've considered getting rid of my Mak in favor of a light weight wheel gun, but...
Any of you Greenfield'rs wanna split range fees, or maybe have a place to shoot that doesn't cost $20/hr? That's a bit steep for the 30 min I usually spent at the range!!!
Hey all!
I have some small rust spots on my Makarov. I bought it used, and apparently the previous owner didn't care for it properly. I've got some small rust spots on the slide. Any suggestions on how to get rid of them? I've seen places that you can send the slide away to have it cleaned...
Hey there! First time post'r from Greenfield. Have had my LTCH for about 3 months now. My first ever, and still only, weapon is my Makarov IJ70-18A. Love it, and carry it everywhere if I'm not at work.
Peace,
Rich B
