I shot a few GSSF matches at Eagle Creek several years ago. It’s a great event and while nothing wrong with USPSA or IDPA there wasn’t the “in it to win it” folks as far as I saw.
Not really following the point. This happens once every how many years and only for a few minutes ??? I wouldn’t tie up range time during it when you could emulate it in an indoor range anytime
I’ll be at my house partaking of whatever it is.
Forgive me for adding. I love my 625 but moon clip guns can be challenging to carry. Along with what 92 states For me the biggest downside is with full moon which is what most use you have to load or unload all 6 Hal moon or 2 are just too cumbersome to hassle with
Also the 625 is a N frame so...
Good luck I have a standard 5” 625 pre kick and they all are going for $$$ even the lock model as S&W discontinued the 625 the last couple years.
You can get an HK USP for just at or under a grand. I picked up my HL 45 LEM light for 650 BNIB
I carried an Sig 220 45 in my Municipal PD days and time with the US Marshals service as a contract guard really love them. And tell folks they can’t go wrong. I was also found of the S&W 4566 TSW however good luck finding one.
A second one that often slips under radar is the HK 45 I run an HK...
I’d stick to the reputable known ones. I have ordered from Guns America, Aim Surplus Buds and J&G and Natchez when Natchez did firearms.
I use to do listings for a FFL on the stores Gunbroker page and it’s set up pretty good as well.
Good luck!
Every Punisher skull on trucks and guns I see have belonged to someone that
1 Didn’t complete basic training and if so didn’t complete MOS or tech school
2 folks that talk about a rifle that’s good for “1,000 yards” yet can’t tell you what distance is between mil dots at 100 yards or know...
For those interested John Hearne has a couple classes coming up in Dayton Ohio in August. I hosted John last year and took his 1 day Cognitive Pistol with Tactical Anatomy highly recommended

A lot of folks even those that know better make false statements because they don’t know any better. Like we have all heard some folks refer to the J frame 442 or similar S&W as a “hammerless” revolver when it has a hammer it’s just internal and you don’t see it.
Same with those that are new...
I’d say that crime has always been under reported. Just like folks that use a firearm for defense, the times they are not discharged we will probably never get a good number.
Even factoring in Dem cities like NY Seattle San Fran and others that are told not to arrest for certain things might...
I’m saying 2019 was a spike it’s been continuously dropping.
your statement read as it was going up which it is not.
If I misread it OK! Crime is not as bad as the news makes it sound
While the left do their fair share of throwing smoke screens the idea violence is up is just not true. While crime increased in 2020 there are always a spike here and there. Below are a couple links that should be pretty middle of the road (not last or right)
But when the media sensationalizes...
I shoot more IDPA than USPSA these days but from shooting both you need to have a bay. There is time you can speed up like (in my case I run irons) the close targets i just do a soft focus’s looking more at the target but confirming the front is lined up. (I’m always looking at the sight it’s...
Actually Ohio saw a decrease in crime after constitutional carry with the exception of Dayton and Cincinnati so there is that! It’s just places like NYC and Chicago as well as Cali are off the hook...
I’m not so sure they are as fragile as the internet makes them. But proper inspections you sort of stay ahead of it if that’s a big concern.
That said yeah people vapor lock over silly things. I have seen a guy completely quit a bowling pin match because his rod broke. Some folks are like...
