Brings to mind the huge growth in the Christian schools out in Dyer/St. John. I assume the parents (tuition) is paying for those schools. I imagine they have a little more say in the curriculum also.

Individual-filed suppressor wait times only 3 days! (when you can find one). I really need to get it in gear before something changes for the worsorer.

I picked up some great pieces at both stores over the years. The one older, smaller-statured guy out in Valpo was particularly a good guy. Shame what's happened to it. It's been a rough few years in various business segments, so hard to say what led to their demise without knowing more facts.

That's been my experience with both stores the last couple years. I'm not sure what the new owners gained by purchasing either/or of the stores and then failing to purchase inventory. I'd be curious as to the details if anyone ever hears about it. It's an interesting dynamic, buying and selling...
I vaguely remember those days. I think I was doing it wrong though, light on the exercise and heavy on the Wild Turkey!
Tylenol with a shot of coffee is my go-to nowadays.
I am impressed with everything you guys are getting done though. I finally got my gutters done today after work.

Bama. 770 miles due south from where I sit right now, impatiently working towards the day I can spend more time down there. And yes, it is paradicial (sp?), except for the heat and fireants, rattlesnakes, etc... A little harsh, but it keeps the riff-raff away!
20 minutes from the nearest town...
My folks down south have a million dollar property, 300K house and 140 Acres of pine forest. 12 acre bass pond, Etc. They pay about $500 taxes. Of course the high schools don't look like college campuses with olympic size pools either. Just saying.
I think their sales tax down there is 10%...
Prayers sent Sir.
For what it's worth, I know several survivors, and sometimes it is not as bad a process as the mind can imagine. I wish this for your wife and you and family.

Do you have the leveler rollers on each corner of the deck that ride the ground? I found adjusting those helped for less deck movement and better quality cut when my dad got his first zero-turn.
.
I hope you waved at me one block south of there. They have that one item I posted upthread, waiting for me and I havn't had time to go one freakin block to get it. :(

You wanna avoid 41 in Schererville right now, and in the immediate future. Lane closures thru June I'm told. I've only seen the closures south of 30, but I don't know the whole project.

I operate a print franchise up here in NWI. We do probably 10 faxes a day, mostly to .gov orgs that will not accept an email.
A 20 page fax costs much more to send than a 20 page scan/email - .gov efficiency at it's finest.

The new Shadow 2 compact has a nice little indentation on the slide in front of the Red Dot that helps to grab it better. I'm anxious to put this one through its paces, but haven't found the time yet.

Did one of y'all mention buying something from Rural King? I was watching this utuber video, and the fellow mentioned their NICS (background check) system wasn't working for the last couple weeks. He ended up demanding, and getting, a refund. They had the pistol that he ordered, and he tried to...
