      I just picked up 3 Hexmag Series 2 5.56 20 round magazines for bench shooting... They only hold 19 rounds. I did a google search and found no info on this. Strange. Maybe that's why they call them "Shortys", they're short holding a full 20 rounds? Looks to me like the floor plate has got...

      First Rounds with New Scope

      I was fairly happy with these groups. Shooting with a friend at my place with the new build. Shot from the bench- He shot 15 rounds and I took the remainder... Apparently I can't count to 30 accurately!

      My Girl out shot me! We took the new build out to sight it in at 50 yards with a red dot. Dang. The errant bullet hole in the pink target is from one of my groups. At the end of the day, her best 3 shot group was .437", mine was 1.602". Sigh

      New Build Completed

      Got the Cerakote done at Element Armament in Whiteland. Finished the build last night. Tune the block and sight in as soon as the weather breaks.

      WooHoo, got my INGO dust cover today! I have gotten numerous ejection port doors that are horribly finished. This one is probably the best I've ever picked up!

      The home range is coming along

      I've had a bench shooting setup for a few years. Decided this fall to start clearing out dead ash trees and brush to make a defensive distance shooting area. I've been slacking now that it's getting colder but once spring comes around I'm back to work getting this more civilized.
