Yeah, it's pretty much the same as turkey run as far as terrain goes.

      Hunting sugar creek conservation area

I've hunted it the last couple years, bow season is pretty good. Opening day of gun season is packed with people, won't be doing that again. All in all though if you don't mind a good hike it's a pretty good place to hunt

I can't believe it finally happened.....

We just recently bought 26 acres in a extremely rural area and our pretty much only option was satellite internet. We went with viasat, which so far works really well

Dropped your pistol? Tell the truth!

I had bought a sticky holster for my brand new shield, when I went to get out of my truck I went to pull my shirt out because it was tucked in behind the gun and it pulled the gun and holster out and hit the pavement. Needless to say I never used that holster again

      Favorite EDC - 2018 Edition

I've been carrying my .40 Cal shield the last couple years until I recently bought a s&w 3 inch model 60. I really like it so far

Anyone planning a purchase with their tax refund?

I'm either gonna buy a .357 Blackhawk or vaquero, haven't decided yet

      Can't decide

I just bought a Smith model 60 with a three inch barrel this week because my thinking was similar to yours. So far I really like it, it's enjoyable to carry and shoot

      Your look back on 2017

It's been a really good year for me and my family, I started a new job a couple weeks ago. My wife and kids are healthy and happy. And the highlight was probably my son getting his first deer

BIL has not called since the will was shared and settled.

I got a Budweiser and a pair of worn out cowboy boots

      Deer Rifle for Neice, Recommendations?

Hookeye, I'm guessing you're talking about my son's deer? It was a slightly quartering away shot at about 75 yds, double lung shot. Exit was offside shoulder and she dropped where she stood, this was the first year I've ever used a hpr and I was just impressed with the round

      Deer Rifle for Neice, Recommendations?

My eleven year old son killed his first deer this year with a .243, it dropped her like a rock. So I'm thinking about getting him his own next year now that he's officially hooked. I'm leaning towards a Savage axis, reasonable price and good guns

      got my mount back

Great deer man, Josh does great work doesn't he

      Has rut started

I saw a good buck chasing a doe this morning in fountain county, so I would say it's still on right now

      40S&W Caliber for Deer 2017?

I finished my buck off with my Glock 23 last year. I don't think I would only hunt with it but if I had a doe in close I would like to try it
