Thanks I'll have to find an original sight for it so I can make it look all original again. It's a safe queen and will only get shot on occasion. I have another one, blued that is newer. I did call Beretta today and it was made in 1997.
I don't have one now,but plan to try and find a few. Who needs a bullet, you can just use the gun itself to hurt someone.
Really like them though. Shot several of them
If you’re caught with a stolen firearm, that’s a crime. You may get out of it but still taking a ride and going to court to explain the situation on how you got the gun. If I do buy used,I keep screenshots of text messages to show where it comes from as well. Just my way of doing things. Never...
I don’t do to much buying or selling, but when I do,no paperwork unless one ask for it. I check to make sure they are Indiana residents.
Downside to buying is some people will sell stolen firearms and then you’re up a creek.
As soon as I buy one,I have it checked 2 times, once after purchase...
Picked up a used BDE 40 S&W Compact Poly frame.
I emailed MR and got a date of 10/2002
I don’t know much about the gun and what series it would be since there are 3 series of them ( I can pretty much rule out series III)
Also don’t know the value of it since there is very little online about it...
I've been doing it with each gun I buy since ammo is in high demand and I just want to make sure everything works. Was surprised the 4046 was such a soft shooter compared to my P224. Really like it but won't carry it.
Went and got the 4046 Saturday. It's in pretty good condition.
I opened it up at home and it's barely been shot. I shot a few rounds in the basement crawl space where I test everything and it felt pretty good. Picked up 3 used magazines for $66 which will be here today. I was only looking for...
I haven't noticed any price increases but I haven't looked at new guns for a few months. Picking up a Gen 3 S&W 4046 for $400 in good shape.
I had the LCP II 22. One of the worse investments for me. I paid just over $300 for it back in March and sold it for what I paid for it. The magazines...
Definitely is. I probably would of eventually got it after the 4046,but I got out of the 9mm game. I had a 5926 which a friend wanted since he has several Gen 3s in multiple calibers but didn't have the 5926. He has the 5906 though. It was his first carry gun when he was still a cop.
That's encouraging to hear. My 224 is a beast to shoot but my 229 isn't to bad. I don't plan to carry it. Just a few range trips and boxed up unless I need it and maintenance on it every now and then since I have other 40s to shoot.
I don't mind carrying a heavy gun. Less recoil to deal with.
$349 but it was in terrible shape. You can kind of see it in the picture I posted above
I edited the other picture of my gun I had and it shows the 6946. Has a lot of wear and probably shot to death.
I'm picking up a 4046 on Saturday if I can get up in time. I have already put it in layaway so it's reserved. Been looking for a Gen 3 40 Caliber and finally found one in good shape.
The place has a 6946 (I think that's the model number) that looks Iike it was tied to a rope and dragged...
40 isn't going anywhere. Been hearing for years that it's a dying caliber, yet here we are years later and people are still shooting it.
I have favored 40 over 9 for a long time and probably will for as long as I can find ammunition for mine
It's out there if you know where to look, but when...
I'll stick with 40 since it's been fairly easy to find and prices aren't all jacked up. White box winchester was $16.49 yesterday at RK with a 4 box limit so I grabbed the limit.
