      Any ideas on this cartridge??

      Trying to figure out what exactly this is. It's bullet diameter is 10.85mm (.425") case length is 64mm (2.5") It has a crazy large rim, a friend said it may have been for a mortar round? I have nothing so I thought I would post it here. Pic will come a bit later.
