      Ethanol's Rise Can Mean Loss of Hunting Lands

      I don't know the facts or stats on the fuel, but I do know that the woods we have hunted for years is being cut back more and more each year. Heavily wooded areas have become patch woods, cut almost all the way to the rivers. It seems pretty sad to me.

      Optic for Henry Big Boy

      Did you get the scope mount from the Henry website? I also have trouble seeing the bead on my sight around dusk. I noticed on the site the had the Hi-Viz fiber optic, but only for the .22 models. I was hoping to find something more like that, much more inexpensive than a scope, rings, and mount...

      Found something interesting today

      A local shop around me had a couple of these. The owner of the shop liked them so well that he kept one for himself. Actually shot very accurate. Cool little rifles.

      If you have $1000 available now, I would go for the 1911 and pick up the Beretta later. $1000 will buy a nice 1911.

      The EMP is my favorite 9mm handgun. Definitely high on my list to purchase! I have yet to shoot a SA I didn't love.

      Here in central Indiana, I generally have more trouble finding .45 than I do 9.
