I don't know the facts or stats on the fuel, but I do know that the woods we have hunted for years is being cut back more and more each year. Heavily wooded areas have become patch woods, cut almost all the way to the rivers. It seems pretty sad to me.
Very nice! I can honestly say, though, that I have never had deer heart. It has never even crossed my mind to try it. Is this common? If so, maybe I should try it. Anyway, thanks for the stories and congrats!
Did you get the scope mount from the Henry website? I also have trouble seeing the bead on my sight around dusk. I noticed on the site the had the Hi-Viz fiber optic, but only for the .22 models. I was hoping to find something more like that, much more inexpensive than a scope, rings, and mount...
A local shop around me had a couple of these. The owner of the shop liked them so well that he kept one for himself. Actually shot very accurate. Cool little rifles.
