Been Wondering While Using Cast Bullets
Whip mcord is right on the money lee fcd is not a good choice for cast for reasons mentioned a good taper crimp die is way to for any caliber cast bullet.It is possible to remove carbide ring out of fcd die making it a taper crimp die.

Why is 380 loaded with 95gr?
The 9mm has a outside taper 380 has internal taper thats what causes bugling.Lyman 48th edition

Why is 380 loaded with 95gr?
The 380 has a tapered case making it difficult to load the longer 115 bullet without bugling case. Case capacity comes into play also.
