      yep, gander mountain is terrible huh? ;) red ghost might be a bit higher on some things than other places, but its no dons guns, shop around :)

      i know red ghost usually has some j-frames, air weights, steel frame and ruger lcr etc, etc, but for shotguns i would probably go to rajos, buck and jakes, or *gasp* gander mountain for a wider selection he just needs to do some shopping around and make sure he gets it in 357mag so he can run...

      fmj vs fmj (like the military must use) i would take 45acp (wouldnt .50gi be even better?) hands down over 9mm for stopping power, with modern defense rounds and +p 9mm does just fine and gives you extra capacity

      if its only 6-7 years old i would be suprised if it really needed it, its alot more work than a "might as well" warrants

      if its the head gasket, make sure the head and the block are flat and the surface is smooth (no gouged out or corroded areas where it seals), and put another gasket on it, small motors are usually nice and easy to work on

      im not an expert on kawasaki small motors but i would think to disconnect the plug wire and check for spark, and at the same time you should be able to tell if it has reasonably good compression or not, ALOT of small motor problems are caused by gummed up carbs, water in the fuel, etc, if the...
