      Large Gun Auction

That was an uncataloged old model super single six, model SC4. There were only 197 produced in 1965 due to a manufacturing error. That was a nice one, with the box and mag cylinder. They normally sell for about $2000.

Gun Shops near NWI (Merrillville Area)

I have to agree, I miss the Shemas. It's good to hear he's doing well. I bought most of my dillon stuff from them. My wife and I would spend an hour gabbing and playing with the dogs while I was building a pile of supplies on the counter.

      Zippo Lighters

Zippos are great, like a Timex watch they just keep on working. Carried a zippo every day for probably 25 years. Not sure why but I got out of the habit a few years ago. I've got 50 or 60 of them, used to collect them. Different variations, finishes, table lighters ect. Now that you mention it, I...

Wow man, I hear ya! haha It's been a busy year! I can't believe it's January 2012 already. It will be nice when things slow down and I can start goofing off again. :D Did Jediagh say vote? Being a life long Lake county guy, is that the polite one vote per day, or vote until I break something?

Where to get "Zero" brand .40 165 gr jhp?

If you are on Gunbroker do a search for the seller name MPS28105. He may be a little bit higher then some others, but he seems to have quite a few in stock. I believe they are all the Zero brand, but you may want to ask him. I have ordered a few thousand 38s and 45s and have no complaints at...

My Ruger .22 is in pieces

This is the short answer to Hornetts question. Rugers original design as shown in the picture Spazzmodicus posted is called the "Ruger Standard Automatic" and was produced from 1949 to 1982. Standard automatics will have thin tapered barrels and fixed sights. The Ruger "Mark l" was produced...

      Black Powder Cartridge Shooting

How do you load for the Smith? Do you use brass cups, or load it like a muzzle loader by dropping the powder and bullet down into a closed chamber?

"I'd like to see every gun in Marion Co. have a lock on it"

I gave one of the "free" gun locks to my cousin. He uses it to lock the coupler on his boat trailer. :D

      22lr once fired

Check out Cast Boolits - Dedicated To The World Of Cast Bullets! They have a Swaging section with a lot of good information. They do from 22 cal up to large caliber hand gun bullets. I kick around the idea every once in a while, however the die sets are a little pricey.
