I feel like there’s a good joke or a pun in there somewhere about the downfall of American society contrasted with the collapse of a bridge dedicated to the author of the national anthem.
Couple things.
1) You hear about it on the news if it’s a church leader, because it’s a sensational headline. You don’t hear about it as much if it’s just a lay person that comes once a month.
