Guns are the tool that has leveled all men to the same playing field. It is the tool of the modern world, and the tool of democracy. Without guns, this world would find itself quickly reacquainted with the world of survival of the fittest. No one person should be taken lightly, and even the...
So with the weather breaking into the mid 50's this past weekend I may have gone a bit overboard. My sons and my daughter and I went shooting 2 days in a row. :rockwoot:Day one was on Friday we went up to the Pigeon River Range in Mongo and shot the 30-06 and the 22 rifle. Day #2 we went out to...
I had an amazing dream last night. It was very provocative. I was so excited. I was dreaming I was at Walmart and the ammo cases were completely full. Then I woke up to my phone ringing. :(
So I stopped by Shull's firearms in rural Butler Indiana today for the first time. I picked up some .22lr and looked at a pistol. Overall a pretty good selection of guns and ammo and a very pleasant experience all the way around. Will definitely be a return customer.
My son and I went to the range up in Mongo this morning to sight in the new 30-06 and shoot the new pistol. Both of those went very well. Got the 06 dialed in to within a 1/2 inch to an inch at 100 yds. But the real story is when we moved over to the pistol area we found a large carrying case...
I saw some of these guns at the gun show this weekend and I am wondering if anyone owns or has shot one and what your thoughts are? It is a 9mm CZ clone. The price was going anywhere from $380-$425. Saw some good reviews on youtube but prefer to hear firsthand any personal experiences with them.
Ok I have been waiting patiently for some money coming in from taxes and some OT worked over the last couple of weeks. This weekend was payoff time. I bought 2 new guns this weekend and found a third I am considering. I will talk about the third in a separate post. As for what I bought---I got a...
I am looking for a Remington Model 7400 semi-auto. I am looking for this gun chambered in one of the following calibers .243/ .270/ .30-06. I am looking to pay under $600. I will drive to you to pick this rifle up. Prefer if the rifle has a scope but not neccessary.
Ok in most SHTF scenarios I am going to do my best to ride it out at my house until that becomes unrealistic.
When that happens the proper vehicle may go a long way to determining whether you live or die.
My bug out location is a 4 hour drive away through 2 heavily populated areas as the crow...
I have never done any coyote hunting but we are getting to have quite a few of them in the Waterloo/Butler area. Anyone on here from that area that is doing any hunting of these and would like some company? I almost hit one with the car last night on my way home from work on 427 just north of...
On Jan 26th my middle son and I braved the 12 degree weather to stand up for our rights.
Not sure if this is the right thread for this but didn't really know where else to put it. Thats my son and I right in the middle. Someone at this rally is how I found out about INGO to begin with so to...
Ok did I miss the memo? Did the zombie apocalypse start without me? I went to 5 (yes 5) different places today. In AUburn,IN I went to Bieber's shot and sinker, Dunham's Sports, Wal-Mart, Mile Corner gun store, and The Angler in Helmer,IN. What was I looking for you may ask? Oh just ONE lousy...
What if the federal gun grab is part of a larger problem? This may sound nuttier than squirrel turds at first but hear me out. The U.S. Dollar is in big trouble. We stand, as a nation, on the verge of one of the biggest financial meltdowns in the history of our planet. The dollar grows weaker...
Hi there new guy here. My name is Rick for those of you that missed it in the introductions forum. I just thought I would share a couple pics of 2 of my guns :D
Hi there. I'm Rick. I am a 38 year old father of four and I have been shooting since I was 6 yrs old when my dad bought me my first youth model .22 to take squirrel hunting. I am proud to say that I still have both the rifle and all the valuable lessons my dad taught me. My entire family loves...
