Due to last minute deployment issues the Immediate Action Medical class scheduled for next Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 26 and 27) has been canceled. In its place we are hosting Fighting Rifle. A few INGOers have express interest in taking this class in the past. I know its spur of the moment...
I think what John is refering to is that our range at Freeman field has been shut down. We will now be doing the class 15 miles west of Seymour at the County Seat fish and game club range. It is a good facility, just a little more out of the way.

I put Big Dot sights on all of my fighting guns and several other officers on my department have switched to them as well. Faster sight aquisition and no loss is accuracy. You won't regret it.

Good Cat, there is no such thing as a rolling stop. You are either stopped or still rolling. If you never ceased foreward movement then you never stopped. There is no amount of time that you have to remain stopped. You just have to stop until it is safe to proceed.

Another +1 for the Streamlight microstream. Takes 1 AAA battery. It is a great light. Small, durable, and good light output. Not very expensive either.
I liked the shotgun course. I've never taken a shotgun specific course before and this was a good taste. My favorite part is alway getting to meet the people that I see posting on line and getting to put a face with the name.
