I went to our range this afternoon to use Pistol Range #2. My first 10 minutes were used to clean up garbage left by some "user" that felt zero responsibility or privilege to use this great facility. PLEASE pick up you trash and spent cases before leaving the club. Let's all do our part to...
Looking at a new Kimber Ultra Carry II 45ACP, and am thinking of trading in a Colt New Agent 45ACP in the deal. Does anyone have any pros or cons on this Kimber model.
Thanks!

A very dear friend of mine gave me the holster he wore as an MP during the Vietnam conflict. It seems to be in good shape but the leather is drying and starting to crack in some areas. Should I attempt to clean and oil this piece of history or leave it alone. I know sometimes collectibles should...
Was having a conversation with a friend in reference to carrying a weapon while camping or boating on Lake Monroe, and of course the legalities involved in doing such where the highlight. I explained to him my understanding is you cannot carry a weapon on Lake Monroe PERIOD unless you are a...

Went to Beech Grove Firearms range again today. Another great experience, nice and warm, and the folks were again very accommodating. Ran my new Colt Govt XSE through another 100 rounds and my New Agent through another 50 rounds with no issues. Nice day in paradise!
Plenty of pistol and revolver experience, going to pop the cherrie on my Sig M400 tomorrow. Virgin to the AR15 platform. Any advice for a first experience with this weapon? Have experience with small caliber rifles such as bolt action 22LR, but that is it. Words of wisdom please.
My first experience at Beech Grove Firearms range was fantastic! First class range, clean, functional, and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. Gary set me up for a 1 hour shoot- great guy to talk to and had several good points of info for my next visit. I got there at 10:00 AM today...
:rolleyes:Cross out another on my list. Proud owner of new Colt Govenrment XSE 45ACP in blue. Was treated very well at Cosners Gun and Knife, Bedford. Competitive pricing and a great selection of 1911's. My 2nd Colt 1911 purchase from Cosners.
I have a Bersa 380 Thunder I purchased a few years ago and has never had a round in it. Thinking of either trading it in on another Colt or Sig, selling it or just keeping it. I have been of the opinion that is somewhat of a "Saturday Night Special". Any opinions are appreciated.
Gents & Ladies... Just bought a Sig Sauer M400 Enhanced at Rural King. Been on my "bucket list" for awhile. Price was $1099, so I thought it was a great price for the weapon given the current market. Bottom line: I havn't told "Her" about it yet. Any thoughts of how to break it in?
Would like any feedback in the use of "shooting" gloves for pistol shooting at outdoor range. will use pimarily for 1911 .45 and 357 mag. I like the concept of the Pro Aim glove. Any thoughts?
