Just wondering if any gun shops have a MKA 1919 Match that I could take a look at. Hate to buy online without checking it out.
I am in WCIN but will travel if I need to. Thanks
I have been bitten by a german shepherd and if I was arrmed and had time to draw and aim I would never be bitten again. Unfortunately many dogs get the jump on you and by the time you could assess the situation draw aim and shoot you would be in it's jaws in my opinion. Still would rather have...
I will have to side with BigMatt here! Field corn can and will cross pollinate with sweet corn and result in starchy tough kernels. It is usually not a problem because sweet corn will pollinate early, but if you have multiple plantings you will have issues.
I have shot a couple 3-gun matches and would like to upgrade to a semi-auto shotgun. I like the the mossberg's price, ready to run out of the box, safety location and the way it feels. I am a righty shooting lefty. At the matches I have been watching the shotguns perform and if there is a...
Just wondering why we have not heard any calls to ban jet aircraft after the horrific tragedy in France. I suppose the argument will be that jets are not designed to kill like guns. But since 9-11, I bet more innocent lives have be lost to lunatics with jets than nuts with AR 15's. Not...
I just love it when they cut fences to ride 4 wheelers and snowmobiles, how dare we restrict their fun. I always thought they should put a sticker on those toys that said: Ownership of this vehicle does not entitle you to trespass on private property, unless you own it, it is private property!
If you love your Sig, I would look at a P938. I have both and love the Sig not so much the Shield. Sig has a sweet trigger, smooth rack and nice night sights. Shield is stiff, rough and feels larger, probably needs at least another 500 rounds through to get it broke in.
A couple years ago a friend showed me his H&R 999 and I quickly decided I wanted one. At the time they were selling for about $300 with new in the box going up to $500. I kept looking and bidding on gunbroker and other sites and finally got a decent used one for about $100 more than I had...
Thanks for the reply, I guess I should have edited my original post to include anyone who has seen them in action, because they must not be too popular at all.
I had not considered parts availability, but that could be a real concern. Thanks again. Love the avatar, I waged war on squirrels at...
I stand corrected, although we only referred to organophosphates as the class of insecticides that that impacted the nervous system. I suppose things have changed in 30 years. I now see how to increase my post count, if I only knew how to put in those little animated things.
