      Knobstone Trail

Anyone hike this trail recently? I am thinking about hiking in the spring (thru hike) so assume water is plentiful that time of year? I would use a standard Sawyer filter. I would rather not do water drops if I can help it. How about bugs on this trail during spring? I'll have some...

      Beretta 84 Slide Lock Issue

Sometimes when I pull the slide back and eject the magazine, the slide will "unlock" and snap back. It doesn't do it all the time, but 60-70% of the time. It just recently started. I bought the gun used a few years ago and I use both a standard Beretta magazine as well as a factory clone. It...

      Smith 5906 vs. CZ 75 B

I need some input and opinions on these two pistols. My hope is to procure one of these firearms in the near future. I plan to primarily use this as a target pistol and perhaps home defense. Any opinions or experience with either?

      Walmart Today

They had .357, .380, and 38 Special in addition to .40 and .45. This is the first time I noticed that they are limiting purchases to 1 box per caliber.

      S&W Model 10

I have always admired these revolvers, but never shot one. Obviously a classic. Any advice or feedback on what to buy or what not to buy? That is, this revolver has been around for roughly 100 years with slight modifications - so interested in hearing your experiences with your particular...

      Ammo more available?

Was in Gander Castleton today. Bought some .380 and they had 7-8 50 ct. Boxes (Lawman) available. They had plenty of .45 and .357, but only a few boxes of .38 sp. Paid ridiculous price of 24.99 for 50. We are getting there, albeit at a high price point. But it was there.

      SA Shotgun Recommendation

A300 Outlanders. Has anyone had any experience with this new offering from Beretta? It was just introduced last year as their entry-level SA shotgun. I am also considering a Remington 11-87, but have read about some operating issues with that gun. Lastly, looking at Mossberg 930 too...

      Remington 1100

I am looking for a new shotgun for Trap and Skeet and possibly hunting. I have heard good things about the 1100, watched You Tube videos, and read a few forums. I looked at a few (haven't shot one) and it seems to be a fit for me. Is there any advice on what to look for regarding a new or...
