Looking for Optometrist Terre Haute area

I have been using the eye doc at Dr Tavel for years. He and I get along quite well. Makes sure the test results get to my family doctor for monitoring my diabetes. Don't think anybody in town has an in store shop to make lenses. I get my glasses from Lenscrafters. They have a better selection...

      Motorcycle Riders?

I didn't have to work. Rode the Suzuki this morning. Mowed the back yard. Then I rode the CFMoto. Good times.

      Motorcycle Riders?

Added to the stable today... CFMoto 700 CL-X. Pairs nicely with the DR650. Now if the rain would just go away.

      1940s era air compressor

This old air compressor was in the barn when I bought the house. 2 years ago, the electric motor failed. It was made prior to 1948, and parts for it ran out in the '80s, according to the old man at the shop I took it to for repairs. I have just bought a boring new compressor. Is there any value...

      Motorcycle Riders?

Da boy has an '06 Yamaha R6 rotting away in his garage. He beat it up, abused it, and it needs basic maintenance and fixing. I am trying to talk him in to letting me have it (he lost the out of state title in one of his moves). Not counting the plastic that is broken, parts need are about $500...

      Motorcycle Riders?

I am back to riding. Not like I did before. Now I have a '24 Suzuki DR650. Little changes have been made, mainly just for creature comfort. Put a whopping 200 miles on it so far. Now to get some overpants and new jacket.

I find myself in a strange situation

LIfe is getting better overall. Still missing her fiercely. I will be burying her ashes in the flower garden she made, all by herself, in the front yard on April 6. Got the coat closet cleaned out. Today was spent going thru the boxes of pictures we had. So far, there are three stacks, one is...

I understand the feeling. I really appreciate that you take the time to share your hard work and progress. Words aren't there to express what you are doing does for me these days. Thank you.

I find myself in a strange situation

I cleaned out the her part of the closet, and dresser today. Roped my daughter in to helping fold the clothes to put neatly in to boxes for later removal. Found things I never knew about (nothing exciting, purses mainly). Biggest thought I had doing all that was, damn, we never had enough...

      Vehicle titles

Well, your right. But since my wife's name was on both title and registration, and she died on Jan 18th this year, records must be updated.

      Vehicle titles

So I went to BMV branch to get a 'clean' title. Stupid, annoying, ratsnfrackle stinkin' BMV. I took the $15 in cash, 'cause that is the fee is for a title. They nicked me for another $9.50 to reissue the registration, which I just renewed at the beginning of February. Not enough cash, so I had...

      Vehicle titles

This has been my stance for always. However, with other "qualifying life events" taking place in my life, I am going to pay the state their 30 pieces of silver to say that my truck is my truck.

      Vehicle titles

Silly question. I paid off my truck, and just got the title in the mail. The letter that came with it said to go to motor vehicles and have the lien holder removed. Is it worth the hassle and the fee to have that done? Do I really need to do that for some obscure reason?
