Mine is a 4 digit serial and one of the first off the line in Jan. 1938.
This is my kiddos and every friends favorite .22. It will make a brick of .22 shorts disappear quickly...
I had a great time. I know my two boys had fun and are still talking about it.
Thank you Don for allowing us access to the range, Mike and Paul for allowing others to shoot your toys.
I really enjoyed watching the look on different kiddos faces after they got to shoot something new.

RS Regulate for a side mount / end thread.
will need to know now a bit more about what type of dot. But you could go Ultimak if it is a Micro Dot like a Aimpoint.
I am going to go against the grain and say Howa. I picked one up in 24” 300 win mag for exactly the same reasons you have stated. It is cerakoted but not threaded (I am going to remedy that) and shoots sub moa all day with hornady 180 SST’s. The stock is a hogue and is multicam from the factory...
he was a good guy. I hate to hear this. Thanks for letting us know.
I always liked it when we went to hang out in there. My youngest son liked to talk to him. Prayers for the family...
Winchester model 74. Find one in 22 LR and then quest to find a 22 short only gun.
The 22 short is my very favorite 22 and fun for new and old shooters alike.
