Updates on your findings (pre and post work) please. Been looking at picking up a Colt as well. But like was already said, not sure I could do any work to it (which is why I don’t already have one)
I’ll second the Shelbyville comment. I’ve seen similar behavior there first hand. If he would have been in seen riding into the scene on a moped, we would have known for sure....
I also agree with the P22 assessment. Handles ok and accuracy was good (at least for me) but the ammo issues are bad. Mine would only eat CCI and FTF on all other makes of ammo. I’m looking at moving it in favor of a Ruger Lite.
Congrats on the 42! It’s a great compact gun. I know there are smaller ones and some slightly bigger with a bigger hole in the end, but it seems like the 42 is the best compromise of size and shootability. If it fits your hand and you are familiar and like the glock platform, you’ll love it.
Both are greats guns. I have and carry both. I sold my shield for the 42 and am glad I did. Sounds like you’re fond of the Glock platform so I’d say go for a 42. My 19 is still my go-to (that’s my never part with gun). For summer concealment, for me, it doesn’t get any better than the 42.
That sucks. I’m on a business trip in Japan now. Doesn’t block INGO but back home it does. My viewing time changes a bit but at least I can still see it at work! Good luck in your search to circumvent the blocker.
Nah. When I shoot the two gun matches I strip mine and polish it once a month to make sure it’s running in tip top shape. I see it as the trigger can’t be too smooth....
I own one of those as well. I still find myself going for the G19 more often over all others. HK and FN does have a good break with little take up. I hope (and it does sound like) the 320 is the same or better.
I don’t know if I can convert. My uncle has always been a Sig guy and I’ve always pressed Glock on him. I’ve recently fallen for the FN trigger as well. A little more grunt than the Glock but the break is awesome. Is the 320 the best of both worlds?
You guys are making me jealous! Just bought one but currently in Japan, so obviously can't shoot it yet. I've heard great things, but I can't see it taking over for my 19. Maybe I'm wrong! Anyone tried the flat trigger?
