I’m a black rifle guy, and pretty much always have been. That being said, I have been infected with the old Winchester bug.
I've talked about them so much in the CZ thread, that they are gonna kick me out.
I decided I should probably just start a...
I started reading about Deinstitutionalisation several weeks ago. I was curious as to why all the mental hospitals went away, and started searching a little. If you aren't familiar with the term, I encourage everyone to explore it. It is the root cause of a lot of our current issues, in my...
I'm stealing GGreen's idea here, full disclosure.
I shot my first two USPSA matches this weekend, and went with PCC for a couple of reasons. They are; I have several, I shoot them better than I shoot a pistol, and last, but by no means least, nobody wants to suck. Me included.
Show me the PCC...
Here at INGO, we are a community. Occasionally, someone strays from the community standards that have been set by the staff. We discuss it here.
Please be civil, this is, after all the break room.
No trolling
No baiting
No name calling, and
No peeing on the porch
Keep it fun
The only .308 I own is a Remington 700 PSS. I bought a case of 7.62 NATO for the Proteq shoot last Saturday, and brought most of it home. I now have ammo that doesn't really fit any gun I have. Only one solution. I need a new gun, obviously.
So, INGO, what 7.62 NATO gun do I need???
I currently have a a black and decker smart charger, that is a POS, and an antique trickle charger. They are both going in the trash, and I want to get a new one tomorrow. What do the INGO pros recommend?
It's been a bad day, and there are currently two vehicles idling in my driveway. :xmad:
I'm not talking about Col Cooper and safety rules here. What are the rules that you try to live by, when it comes to your guns, and they're readiness? For me it's as follows. What are yours?
Number 1. Don't leave the house without a gun.
I cant always carry one, but I never leave the house...
After a year in the planning, my first ever hog hunt, is in the books. All went well, hogs were killed, and everybody had a blast.
THE PLANNING
I started researching a hog hunting trip about a year ago. All I wanted, was to get a group of friends together, go down to Texas, shoot all these...

I want to kill some hogs!
I've been watching videos for years of people shooting hogs. I want to play too. The past week, I've been researching outfitters and guides, for a planned hunt this year. It has been very disheartening.
Feral hogs are vermin, and as such, need to be eliminated. The...
Why do I need .300?
I have an SBR AR, so, .300 would be easy. My question is why?
I have stuck primarily to Nato calibers, for simplicity. I currently stock 9mm in 147, and 115. 5.56 in 55gr and 77gr for the MK 12. .45acp, and .308 match grade stuff for the bolt gun.
What would .300 do that...
Does anybody have an interest?????
We have a lot of threads on here about, which 9mm AR to build, Colt mags, or Glock mags, Scorpion vs MPX.
Pistol caliber carbines are hot, inspite of what Yeager says.
There are 3 kinds of people in this world, people that have them, people that want one, or...
Gps has killed the map.
I have used maps most of my life. Road maps, lake maps, topo maps, etc. If I was going out of state, I always made sure I had my road atlas in the truck, now, not so much. The smart phone has probably put Rand McNally out of business.
The second time I went to Dale...
