Stevens 320 12 Gauge Home Defense Shotgun w/ Pistol Grip
Hi All,
Looking to sell a Stevens 320 shotgun. I've had it around for a while, but have put less than 100 rounds through. Mostly dove shot actually. I have found that I don't really like the pistol grip on a shotgun. More than...
Excellent article. The conversation never stops and you never know if someone is new to carrying, so having a clear and reasonable contribution from someone as qualified as Mas doesn't hurt. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks guys. I went ahead and put both in. I try to keep as little in my wallet as possible and the main thing was my laminated permit just needed a god trim.
I just moved back to Indianapolis from Cincinnati, where my wife and I were for the last two years. Prior to move I had, and still have, an IN lifetime carry permit. I took a course and got the Utah permit before moving to Cincinnati so that I would be covered. With the move back I just got...
Also, to cut and recrown it seems like with the rifling it would be important where exactly the cut is relative to the length of the barrel. If I took this route would I have any concern for the exact length?
Yes. Two shots. Pretty ridiculous. By far one of the dumbest things I have ever done. As for 30calmachinegunner's offer, I would love to but my wife and I are in Cincinnati until spring of next year for her to finish grad school and I'm not sure when we will visit next. I have thought about...
A while back I was trying to sight in a cheap scope on a marlin 795. After many wasted bullets I decided to check with laser bore sight. Also cheap and in outdoors lighting essentially worthless. Did this a few times and forgot to remove it. Took to shots and know I essentially have a squib...
Well that really puts it into perspective. I'm just starting with my mossberg 500. Weirdly enough I own an M1 and it definitely kicks, so I appreciate the comparison. Thanks.
Is it really that different that it beats up your shoulder? The box says dove/target load but it is definitely 1290 FPS and 3 1/4 DR. I understand there is no need for overkill when there really is no need, but now I am curious to shoot some stuff sided by side and see the difference for...
I am looking at shooting some skeet and/or trap this summer. A shop nearby has a estate dove load on sale (2 3/4, 1 oz, #8) - Case of 250 for $60. Could it serve the purpose of getting started, or do I need to purchase a target load? An recommendations or guidelines? I have searched this and...
Well I will probably check it out in the near future and let you all know if it is any good. If anyone is interested it isn't to hard to find just poking around on google maps. And if I don't have any luck, maybe I'll have to give fish in a barrel a try.
Anyone ever fish this little lake? Basically a large pond off a dirt road, but it looks pretty clean. I have been by it a few times and only once have ever seen another person. I squirrel hunt in the area and have been thinking about trying to fish it. It's a bit of a hassle to get there...
Right now there are really great deals on shotguns at bud's guns, cheaper than dirt and kygunco. A stevens 350 with ghost rings is a great starter for HD and if you are real tight on money just get a maverick 88 - they are back in stock and the barrels are easy to swap out, along with the...
Marlin 795 with tech-sights - literally the best bang for your buck... ever. Get one and go to an Appleseed event and outshoot the guy (or gal) next to you that brought a 10/22 with a 1,000 dollars in mods.
I would say 15 00Buck for the versatility, and then 5 slugs and 5 #6 for the what I would consider small emergencies where you need to bring something big down from some distance or you really need that squirrel way up in those leaves (at least bad enough to waste a shell, which is 4% of your...
I can't believe this thread has made it this far. It isn't even full of people looking to get their count up to run and buy something off the classifieds before the Russians come to take it away. That is seriously what I thought was happening for 6 pages till I looked at them. Wow. And I...
but... the plastic is inexpensive... walnut is nice, and if that is what you want, pay for it. but the plastic has value. my plastic marlin 795 is an excellent shooter, for very little cash. cost/benefit when it comes to personal preference.
