I do not. I know that as long as my grandpa has had it, the only thing that has been done is preserve it. I'm waiting to hear back when he actually acquired it. I'm guessing he picked it up back in the early 80's but not sure. I'll post when I find out.
I'm no pro, but I've looked the gun over...
Grandpa's 1911
Got some pictures of my Grandpa's 1911. It's an absolute beauty.
Made 1917. USGI Issue. Too bad the original grips aren't with it. I'll probably get some for it.
I get it. That is most people's argument to downplay GOA. I agree with above though, big mistake in my opinion to try and have a government agency ban an item where there is no representation of the people. I believe the NRA has done many good things but I'm just not too sure about them as a...
Picked this guy up. Pretty nice rifle. Any information or thoughts are appreciated. I don't know the entire history of these but here is what I have read.
Looks like an early first 10,000 production run of this rifle made for the Czech army after WW1. Many early production guns were built...
Thanks guys. Yea I'm thinking I'll probably just do black or a very dark gray cerakote here soon.
Besides having the previous trunnion holes welded up, I did everything else in my garage. Welding is one thing I haven't gotten into yet and I need to.
I'm not sure if the locations of the serial...
Just finished a week ago or so, well not totally, still pondering what I'm gonna finish it with (cera, dura, KG, rattle can) my first SBR. Thought I'd go with an original Russian triangle sidefolder.
Pretty pleased with how it turned out.
I changed all the pics from referencing a url to uploading them from my computer. They aren't as big now until you click on them but hopefully they show up for you guys now.
The Polish UF kit I just picked up a week or so ago. The barrel is from a SAR-1. Multiple builds are coming soon. Picked these beauties up from the last 1500 several weeks ago. Got a handul of other barrels as well. I won't say what I paid...don't want anyone getting jeolous...or maybe even...
Here are some pics. As far as I can tell, its a 1945 BSA manufacture. Blued finish...although very nice, not original black....who did it? I don't know. Serial numbers? Scrubbed or can't see. Maybe removed when re-finished, not sure. Any info appreciated. Action is very smooth and overall...
Agreed, I guess my question is why bring the stock to market if customers can't SBR the pistol, and then in my personal case, why buy the pistol if I can't SBR it. I want to soooo bad, but I have this hunch that I and others are not going to be able to legally. I hope I'm wrong.
So, I think this pistol is going to be awesome, but yikes does any soul on earth know yet whether we will be able to SBR this due to 922r? I can't seem to get a definitive answer from anyone, even CZ-USA.
Simple and pure enjoyment. I just like to take things out and screw around with them in some adverse conditions. I do this with most things I own, not just guns. Its just fun to me.
We didn't actually leave them in the snow for too long each time we shot. We would pack them under 8 to 10 inches of snow. Stomped on them to get it all packed nicely but only left them for about 15 to 20 minutes. We did this about 4 different times. The time we did it in the photo was with the...
Bad title...but hey
Anyways, got out in the snow pretty much all day yesterday and did some CZ snow testing. Was a lot of fun. Anyone else get out in that somewhat of a winter storm and do some shooting?
By the way you are looking at my CZ P-07 Duty and my buddies CZ 75b.
I own one. Love it. I don't carry it so I can't really tell you how that is though. I have been a bit slow on ordering my holster as I do plan on carrying it.
As far as ergos its great. I love the decocker and also the large slide release. I also like the large trigger guard for wrapping my...
I have these two guys and they are both a dream. I will say that the first magazine I ran through the P-07 I had 2 ftf's which scared the crap out of me. After that it has been smooth sailing. As for my 82 read...
