Revelation.. my favorite book.
Also the inspiration for my username.
Rev19:11
"I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war."
Made my first purchase today off GunBroker, actually. There are a lot of reputable dealers/shops on there. Made the call with payment information around 2pm, gun should be at my FFL by noon tomorrow. Good price, too. Can't beat that!
Way less than $300, but I carry a CRKT M16-13LE (3.5inch blade folder). Haven't gotten EDC-ing a fixed blade. Best believe I'm strapping one on once motorcycle season is back, though!
Let it be known that as a dyed-in-the-wool child of Jesus Christ, I'm not into that 'Satan stuff", either. However, as a child of the Most High God, I firmly believe that God did not give me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. (2nd Tim 1:7)
Do I think it's cool 'cuz it...
Picked this up last week for a good price. Gave it a good once-over and checked for wear marks and whatnot. Got it home and showed my buddy. Immediately he looks at me and says, "Did you even look at the serial number??"
I'd say it's pretty damn cool. I'm not superstitious in the...
Buddy of mine who lives in Naperville was JUST telling me he figured Illinois would go straight 'open-carry' before they had more stringent gun laws passed. HA.
I swear that state does something to people. I still can't believe the whole FOID card thing.
(P.S. This same buddy called me...
J and G Sales (jgsales.com) has 9mm Brown Bear @ $104/500rds.
Anyone have experience with this brand? I'm shooting Glocks so I'm not worried about it being dirty/rough. Just wanted some info on accuracy, etc.
Thanks much.
(Can I just add that I LOVE the "eh, it's a glock, it'll run"...
Did a search on GunsAmerica for FFLs on the northside and found Berding Ballistics in Fishers. Anyone out there have any buying/transfer experience with them? Feedback/advice is much appreciated. I'm new to buying guns through FFL transfer so I'm a noob at this stuff.
Thanks again.
Just shot my M38 for the first time this weekend. Picked it up at the 1500 for a good price and I can honestly say it is now my favorite gun in my collection. Yeah, beats out the AR, the Glocks, the Weatherby hunting rifles, the shotties... It's just a blast to shoot. HUGE fireball and HUGE...
Without question, yes.
If the rape was 'about to happen', I'd alert the perp of his impending doom should he continue. If it was 'in progress', he'd be dead.
If SOG is like OMB Express or AIMsurplus, I wouldn't think so. I've ordered from the latter two and never had any problem. They (OMB Express) have frequent 'free shipping' sales, too. Lately I've purchased all my ammo in bulk over the 'net. Although I did pickup some 7.62x54r @ the 1500 for...
Agreed. I thought I had stumbled onto a great find for about 5 seconds. Then realized things weren't as they seemed. I'm still looking for a 20" 590A1.
I DID, however, end up with a GORGEOUS 1943 Mosin-Nagant M38 following me home. Matching numbers, beautiful stock. Bought 440 rds of...
The Good2Go Tactical booth also had a number of Mossberg 590A1s (18.5 in barrel) for $269 that were apparently police trade-ins. The guy behind the table said they most likely spent most of their time in cruisers and weren't abused (on the inside, anyway). I spoke with a few guys admiring them...
General question:
Is it true that the 91/30s and the M44s were originally sighted in with the bayonet extended? This is my main reason for getting a M38, I don't really need the bayonet. The rifle will mainly be a 'trunk gun' and a carbine size is perfect. The 91/30 is considerably longer...
