Good Tig Welder in Indy area?

I recently acquired an older German (Simson) .22 rifle and need to have a person with very good tig welder skills do a repair. Any suggestions/recommendations? Thank you. Oldbird13

What's the best method for surface rust?

Surprised no one has mentioned the Big45 product. I have removed major rust as well as fine from numerous rifles, hand guns and their parts. Also used on vintage scope tubes. Kano Kroil and Big45 would be my choice. Good luck.

      WTB: Springfield 1922 M2

Fellow members, I am trying to purchase a Springfield model 1922 M2 rifle. I foolishly missed out on one at a recent auction and am hoping someone out there no longer is in need of their rifle or may know of someone who might be interested in selling theirs. Located in Indy area and am willing...

      Spotting Scope for the Range

Look at the Alpen 20-60x80. You may be able to find one with a tripod and case for around $350. This scope received great reviews from testing a few years ago by a well respected Birding group. I own one and it does a good job at 100 yds. I may have a Vortex scope I would be willing to part with...

      spotting scope recommendations

Take a look at the Alpen 20-60x80. I bought that before I invested in Pentax with high end eyepieces, used at that time for Birdwatching. I now use the Alpen at the range. It comes with case, and small tripod. It was highly rated/scored in an evaluation of high end scopes for Birdwatching and...

      Gun show news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Has anyone here ever gone to some shows out-of-state. It seems to me that not much changes from show-to-show at the 1500. Frankly I have been a little disappointed in some of the shows in the recent past. The law of large numbers/scale would obviously apply whether you are selling guns, knives...

Huntertown Arms moved to a larger facility?

This guy would make a great politician! Claims he wasn't hating Huntertown yet makes a statement "I'd totally buy another suppressor if it was from an IN maker". Keep shoveling, faster, faster..

George Zimmerman Juror Says He 'Got Away With Murder

She may have been an alternate. They are required to hear, see all but if not needed then they get no vote. I wonder how long this will go on. Again, the public is not privy to all the testimony and evidence but we all certainly know what the right decision should have been. Now the unfortunate...

Ammo recommendations for a MK II 22lr on groundhogs past 100 yards.

I do not hunt, probably due to severe muscular/skeletal issues however I love watching all sorts of outdoor TV. All this discussion about humane kills is a little hypocritical to me. Hundreds of filmed deer, elk, coyote, bear hunts clearly show animals running off to go die a pretty good...
