GB always was a fun way to spend some of my breaks, just for the hilarity of it all... just like the way he laid out his tv show for awhile many years ago... but yeah, i just don't have a lot of stake in his statements ... and it seems really odd to give 3 days to come clean... unless just...

Not too bad... do wish the local pd/sheriff part was just taken out.. i...
It is pretty obvious... when I went to "interview" with the Chief he had my record... lots of stuff highlighted on it... not sure why.. shouldn't be anything on it other than where I was born, where I live, etc. ... *shrugs* .. but yeah, that appears to be part of the wait here in Carmel...
Because some people like myself are are 1 day shy of 3 weeks and still waiting (but its not ISP's issue, its local issue.. I anticipate at least another week... and yes this is with L1)
I'm currently in the middle of the process myself... basically, at least in Hamilton, you fill out the state police form which will let you register for L1 ... go do the L1... then take the receipt from L1 to your local agency... if that local agency is Carmel, prepare to wait 2-3 weeks...
There is a lot of interesting things on shortwave, but probably want to get an amateur radio license now to get some experience with actually transmitting back out. A lot of the amateur radio service is about being prepared and emergency communications, so fits right in with SHTF to a degree...
Yeah i dont get the price reported if it is only those 3.. they had to take more (although they are reporting the others were all chained down or whatever)... hmm... they showed pictures of similar guns.... was that a ak-like pistol (aka a sbr waiting to be made?) ...
Sounds like it happened 3am-ish ... they were showing a live scene earlier and there were two guys with BATFE jackets there. (with the commentary "crews are already cleaning up the store" which made me laugh)
seems to be the punch point on that story. "We dont know... but we think they took an AR-15... it's like a m-16... oh my god!" ....
Hope they grab who ever it is... sucks regardless.
Well, the initial circumstances in the video are kinda... ???? ... really a bad place and situation to be in to begin with.... but.... doesn't excuse the officer's explosion. If I were the judge, though, I probably would have said "You've already suffered enough with this case" and let it...
haven't read any of the thread, just wanted to see the video... First time to see the video... "What I should have done when I saw the buldge was take two steps back, pulled my glock 40, and put 10 bullets in your ass" "as I executed you" ?!?!?!?! WTF kind of cop would do that? Cops are not...
*raises hand* When I was a teenager, my mother smoked 2 packs a day in the house. I didn't even smell the smell of the cigarettes, or when anyone else smoked for that matter. When i moved for college, the first few days, I felt the classic symptoms of withdrawal (anxiety, mood issues, etc), but...
I don't think self defense would be included in this, as Texas is pretty pro-self defense as a whole... but isnt clear is if the CHL holder was in a circumstance that the permit would have allowed for ... or if it contributed in any way...
Here are a selection of the charges.. the first...
That I shot? A ruger .22lr pistol... don't remember the exact model (it was "mine" although I didn't buy it, nor did I take it when I left home many many years ago)
That I bought? Beretta 92FS ... sitting right there, loaded and ready.
Well looking at the numbers, and just some of understandings across the states... some states are more .... gun friendly... i guess is a word for it.. like it really surprises me how few Texans have them... I honestly thought more people did, since a lot of people I met had them... but then...
That was the first thing I checked in Indiana coming from Texas... if someone comes on my property, and presents a threat... do I have to run to the last closet in the house and cower like a little kid before i can shoot (duty to retreat), or can I legally react to the threat (no duty to...
Sadly not all states openly publish statistics... they simply don't want their citizens to know.
Alaska 7,568 (unconfirmed)
Alabama 350,000 approx (unconfirmed)
Arizona 163,314 Statistics: Concealed Weapons & Permits - Arizona Department of Public Safety
Arkansas 102,702 (unconfirmed)...
Eh, they are just afraid that people will realize that guns don't kill people... bad people kill people.... guns are but a tool... a tool that can be used for good or bad. The sad truth is we will never know the 'sales' in the black market to know if those are going up or down... those are...
