It's been about 4 years since this article was last shared on INGO, 6 since it was first published in 2018. The question shouldn't be "why prep," but rather "why in the world would you NOT prep?"
The article doesn't get into the preparedness paradox, or the various cognitive & emotional...
If any of our representatives are looking for RKBA promoting ideas for upcoming legislative sessions. . .

Thus far in my sheltered life, from an optics perspective, my experience has been limited to red dots and scopes. Recently, SIG had their Juliet3 Micro on sale, so I jumped at the opportunity to try out a magnifier behind a Romeo5 I had laying around.
Long story short, was working with the...
Did Ruger discontinue the LCP II 380? Was poking around on the web site, and no longer see it listed. I can see wanting them wanting to consolidate their 380 lineup, but that's not the model I'd have axed.
Looking for something very specific. Back in 1998 when I lived in the Indy area (in Blmgtn now), I sold a SIG P230 that has sentimental value. Thinking it might be nice to re-acquire that particular pistol only.
So, if you have a P230 with the serial number beginning in S1343..., shoot me a...
For those of you with some knowledge of Colorado and Utah - Going to be doing a little travel this summer and have a need to pick a route from the Royal Gorge (Canon City, CO) to Moab, UT. Per Google Maps, it looks like I can take 1) U.S. 50 up to Grand Junction and over to Moab, or 2) take...
We're planning a trip out west this year and I was reviewing our Indiana LTCH reciprocity in preparation. Back in the day :oldwise:, having an additional non-resident license from another state was a significant value for some of us at the time as an additional license/permit could add 7-ish...
Interesting article deconstructs, "the many layers of lies that the media and the antigun activists are telling."

The NRA used to put out a tri-fold wallet size firearms fact card (think they still do). I'm looking for one from the mid to late 80's.
Anyone have one they could snap a few pics of and IM me (or post here)?
There was a thread recently on chest rigs for concealment. [https://www.indianagunowners.com/threads/chest-rigs-for-concealment.532145/]
The well-known Hill People Gear Kit bags were mentioned. However, a bag I haven’t seen/noticed before, the 5.11 Skyweight Utility Chest Pack, was also...
Seems like there people new to carry on INGO these days so I thought a thread on best practices might be helpful. I could have sworn this article was posted recently, but for the life of me I can't find it, so here it is. (Apologies if I duped it.)
Each point could easily be it's own thread...
Has anyone used the factory picatinny adapter for the standard Henry .22 rifle (H001, 002, 003)? Part - HLPA001. From the pics, it looks like it slides over the receiver dovetail and is held in place with set screws. Is that correct?
Has anyone experienced the installation of a Vortex Flash Hider (G6A2, G6A3, or G6A4) either shifting the point of impact, OR increasing the group size significantly? Saw it mentioned online that it was "notorious" for this, but have not seen it myself.
Came across this article today. If it saves just ONE person from from carrying a CC badge, it's worth it. ;)

Hypothetically, if one could get good quality teflon coated USGI aluminium mags with Magpul anti tilt followers for $10, or Gen2 non-window Pmags for $10 - which would you stock and why?
Here's an article with some interesting observations from Greg Ellifritz, a man with a lot of international travel experience (author of "Choose Adventure - Safe Travel in Dangerous Places"), as well as recent domestic travel due to his training schedule (among other things)...
Stumbled on this recently. Emergency Trauma Response is a free online course offered by Mountain Man Medical. I'll admit right up front it's not a substitute for hands-on training and practice. However, it's a good introduction (or review) to MARCH, a few other things, and there are some...
