Depends how strongly you feel about it. I wouldn't waste my time. I'm not involving myself with .gov in any capacity unless absolutely necessary. This is way, WAY down on my list of things to be concerned about.
If you leave it blank, it’s kind of a blank check for abuse downstream, isn’t it? In other words, if it’s blank, it seems like it’d be easier for someone to fraudulently fill something in later.
My folks just taught us - BE CAREFUL. Solves lots of "problems" - cheaply.
It's something I keep hammering in to my family. Hopefully they get it eventually.
Carelessness is expensive, personally, and when you have a nanny state, collectively.
I think this is often the case. And, it seems such abrasive material is more easily embedded into the surface of leather than it is a Kydex or thermal plastic holster.
So, since the thermal plastic/Kydex holsters are more resistant to the embedment of abrasive material, and are easier to clean...
Yeah, kind of weird especially since he includes pics of them in his video. Only so much you say in an 11 min video I suppose.
I'd never really thought of tracing it to Jelly Bryce. Makes some sense, but Jelly didn't invent hip shooting. All one has to do is read biographies from the late...
The eclipse in 2017 was amazing. Hoping the weather holds for this one. Last time my focus was on just the sun, however, given 4 min of totality, there are a few other interesting sights to take in as well. See article below...
Take a look at the Comp-Tac Infidel Max [1]. Nothing fancy or whiz-bang about it. Just a solid piece of kit. Been using Comp-Tac hardware about daily and in training for 12 years so far, and have yet to have one fail.
Seems like there's always that one pair of pants with a belt loop exactly...
Erie Insurance has been no problem for us (AAA gave us no problems with the kids either.). Have had several acquaintances share “issues” with State Farm such that I won’t even consider them at this point.
Yep, remember a class with Glen Stilson and Cecil Burch a few years ago.
During an excellent module on MUC, one of them said something to the effect of, "Awareness alone is insufficient without a plan to execute when a contact is identified." (from my notes, probably not a direct quote)
So...
Actually, no. It doesn't work that way. During the 4ish minutes of totality, it's like sunset 360 deg. Other than totality, it's farily light. From 2017, I don't remember it being nearly dark enough to do what we think of as "low-light training" (even during totality) - which you'd be stupid...
Just started dipping my toe in the water. Not an expert at all. Buddy and I are watching through all the material, and then plan to try it out on the mat.
The just released version 2.0 of their Combatives material in Feb. and had a super sale a few weeks ago. I think it was discounted $84. Unfortunately, I think the deal has expired. (The were also closing out their remaining DVDs a few weeks ago. Everything is going to the streaming platform...
The Gracies teach some takedowns in their introductory Combatives material.
It’s Phase 2 of their overall approach (i.e. 1. Close the distance, 2. Execute the takedown, 3. Achieve the dominant position, and 4. Finish the fight).
