I have a Ruger Single Six and Ruger Wrangler like them both.
For me they are good for cheap practice and as mentioned good for new shooters or those who don't like recoil. I have several handguns of various calibers including black powder , but I shoot the .22's the most followed by 9mm or .38...
I know what your saying, I just picked up a Glock 43x MOS not long ago and I've been looking at this and that for it. It can get expensive fast depending on what you get.
I was looking at SIG also, mainly the 365 XL
I have a 930 SPX and it's been reliable with different loads without much issue, but I'll admit I've only put around 300 to 400 rounds thru it so far . The only non-stock part is the Oregon spacer tube, just put it on last week and it really didn't seem to need it but the reviews for it sounded...
Congrats to the OP, sounds like a solid choice.
I have a 12 gauge Mossberg 590 for defense and a 2006 Remington 870 express for hunting and really like both for their intended roles, I trust them equally and haven't had issues with either one.
I would like to get 20 gauge for general use and...
I can remember after buying each rifle looking up every marking it had, it was pretty fun just trying figure out what is was, sort of like decoding a mystery.
I knew when I was buying them for $79.00 dollars each , it wasn't going to last. They were all in very good exterior shape but the...
No experience with them yet, but I have a 43x that I would be interested in trying them out in. I was looking at Shield Arms also, but I really like the idea of leaving the mag release stock so the factory mags can still be used.
There are so many good choices now that it can make it difficult to decide what to get, but in the end having different companies making a high quality product is good a thing.
I just get what works for me, if it isn't the current flavor of the day I really don't care. The reality is regardless...
For decades I really disliked Glock, then today I picked up a brand new 43x MOS.
My main pistols have been a Colt Combat Commander and several single action revolvers that I love, but with the addition of the Glock I'll have a smaller light weight, reliable pistol in 9mm.
I have several 91/30's, bought them when they were less than $100.00 each. My experience for the most part is that they all are fairly accurate considering the older surplus spam can ammo that I shoot thru them. The recoil to me doesn't seem much different than my K98K , Enfield .303 or 03A3.
I clean my flintlock rifles and percussion revolvers all the same .
I rinse them out with water well, followed by a brush and patch and repeat. I'll also spray the metal with Windex as the ammonia is supposed to neutralize the salts in black powder, I know many don't do this and have good...
I have a Colt Combat Commander .45 metal that I haven't had any issues with, was my first 1911.
My first experience with a semi pistol was a Berretta M9 years ago, really liked it.
From watching you tube videos you can limp wrist a Glock also, along with many other semi-auto pistols. My...
I'm planning on getting my Pedersoli Bess out this weekend, first time its been out in a couple of years.
Indiucky, thanks for the pictures.
Watching the reenactments are as close as we will ever be to seeing the real thing.
