      +1 Snorko

This was the second time buying from Snorko and both times were pleasant transactions with fair pricing.

WTB: .218 Bee or .22 Hornet rifle

I'd like to find a rifle in either caliber. A Winchester 43 in .218 or a 77/22 in the Hornet would be nice.

      Any Jeepers in here?

To the best of my knowledge, you won't find many legal public jeep trails around Tellico or Natural Bridge. Coal Creek on the other hand will keep you busy for awhile! You might consider heading northeast to Harlan. Even the easy logging roads are pretty cool to drive on.

Three stones hasn't even been cut yet. The Boonies got a new trail open on National Trail Day but, I have always heard it referred to as the Boonie trail. There will be plenty of people around to show you the bunny trails. I am headed to Gray Rock in Alabama this weekend so if my junk is...

Anyone ever released pheasants for them to repopulate?

There was a local Put n Take that had some loose birds every year. According to the owner, Steve if i remember correctly, said they just never could make it a whole year on their own. Another guy I knew in Holland tried to release some on his property and had the same outcome.

D44s front and rear from the factory are Rubicons. Those are still a little more than 9k.

      Any Jeepers in here?

It all depends on what you want the jeep to do and where you want to go. Even with my bigger tires I couldn't make it 10 feet down most of the trails I like without both lockers working. A lunchbox locker in the rear axle will do wonders and get you ALOT of places but the, you are going to be...

Meh I beat and banged my Toyota through tight jeep trails. Then I got a little smarter and started wheeling this. A buggy will be coming soon. I am not the type that can have sheet metal on a wheeling rig!

      .358 Hoosier Finally Finished!!!

Very good points, I didn't even think about antler selection. I am 100% a meat hunter, I can tell if its a shooter buck and that is generally good enough for me. Even though I agree with what you are saying I wouldn't discount the .44 past 150 too fast. Both deer that I killed past 150 yards...

      .358 Hoosier Finally Finished!!!

That is true, and honestly 175 yards is a long shot for most peoples hunting ground here in Indiana.

      .358 Hoosier Finally Finished!!!

This has me puzzled. Why build a rifle like that with no intention of shooting farther than 175 yards? Honestly, I am very comfortable with my 77/44 at those distances. Other than that, it is a very nice rifle you put together.
