I love my TC Omega Z5. I have a 3x9 scope on it. Shooting 110gr of Blackhorn 209, regular Winchester 209 primers, and TC Shockwave 250gr polymer tip, it will group 1" or less at 100yrds depending if I do my part.
As far as accuracy, I've found the Blackhorn 209 to be MUCH cleaner and hotter...
Just wondered who carries Blackhorn 209. I've checked MC Sports and Dicks and all they have is Pyrodex and 777 pellets.
Anyone know if Gander Mtn., Bradis, Indiana Sportsman, or another local store carries it? Also, how much is it?
I just don't want to order it online and have to pay the $25...
This happened right around the corner from me. From my experience the duplexes/town homes where this happened usually house some of the finer citizens of the area. One more reason I carry when I'm out walking in the neighborhood!
I had never heard of this model so I also had to look it up. All I can find is it is similar to a 4003, but has a blued slide instead of a stainless one.
I have a 4003TSW and love it. It is very dependable and hasn't let me down yet. After I got the 4003TSW I became very fond of the 3rd...
I still need to get it out and pattern the barrel that's on it. I've been looking online for a modified choke barrel and so far haven't found any cheap ones either Sears or Winchester marked. Any ideas where would be a good place to look?
I love the weight and the way it pulls/swings. Seems...
Just picked up a nice Sears M200 12ga at a local pawn shop for $125.
From what I can find this is the same as a Winchester 1200. This one isn't the Ted Williams model, just the plain stock/forearm. Outside is nice and clean with a little wear on the stock and the bluing has a couple of small...
I have a 4003TSW and absolutely love it. It is a real pleasure to shoot, is extremely accurate, and has never malfunctioned. I agree that the 3rd generation are undervalued and often overlooked. Wish I had the money to have gotten a some of the trade in guns that CDNN had a few years back. They...
I was in the area on a business trip today and finally got to stop in. These guys were great! Everyone was friendly. Prices seemed to be reasonable and, even though Jahred said the stock was low, they seemed to have a decent amount firearms on hand. Their leather holsters and leather accessories...
I carry a S&W 640 probably about 80% of the time. Most of the time it is in a Uncle Mike's pocket holster in my front jean pocket or in an outside jacket pocket. Sometimes it will ride in an Uncle Mike's pancake holster I got with the gun. At times I think I would like to have something lighter...
Just a heads up for anyone interested. I stopped at the Ace Pawn Shop on the west side of Bloomington today and they have a stainless XD9sc with the XD accessories(mag holder, holster, 3 mags, cable lock, box), for $399. The gun looks to be clean and indecent shape. It does show some wear from...
I can attest to this happening. I found when I was a reserve and going through the FATS training that I was also focusing on the threat and most of my first shots were to the gun/gun hand/ or the head.
I have a Z5 Omega with the black composite stock and love it. It will shoot 1.5" groups at 100yrds all day with 115gr of loose 777 topped with a 300gr XTP/Mag sabot.
That said, I can't find the 300gr rounds this year so I'm switching to the 250gr Shockwave. I tried a scope out for a bit earlier...
I would recommend to get your EMT certification and become a firefighter. Based on a few friends that have recently been hired at larger departments (Zionsville, Bloomington, etc.), usually you have a better chance if you already have at least your basic EMT cert. Redneckmedic probably could...
Sorry if I was misunderstood, but I wasn't meaning that you had to take the courses one after the other. I know I've had many students riding with me that take an EMT-B course, then skip over the Advanced and Intermediate in order to take the Paramedic course. I was just offering an example of...
