Thanks for the response. It looked like I was the first to buy a ticket, which never happens, so I started to wonder. The last one of these I went to pretty well sold out a month or two before the event, granted the circumstances were WAY different then.
Went to Deer Creek the first day they opened back up. There was only one other person when I arrived but the sign in sheet had fifteen or so names from the morning. Five more people showed up as I was packing up and leaving. It was busy for a Wednesday but not busy overall.
Here's the Robinson Arms XCR-M I bought for their President's Day sale. It arrived the same week everything, especially ranges, started shutting down for covid. In the meantime it hasn't been shot yet and keeps getting doodads added to it.
A range trip usually starts with an internal debate between taking my Bren 805 or WWSD AR, so picking a kid. That might change though when my XCR-M comes in three weeks late.
Guns were never a big part of my family. I think if my grandmother hadn't passed before I was born and I had memories...

My experiences there have always been pleasant.
The ATF showed up to do, I'm guessing, a routine audit while I was checking out/trading in. The transaction really didn't go any different than other time I've done business there. I was rather impressed.
I just want some news on CZ's Bren 2 BR. It might not be here this year but there's other wants on the list and it would be great to know if the gun fund can be spread out.
Wilbur Wright is okay if you're the only one there. Upside being that it's free. I haven't been there in years but it was a group effort to call a cold range because there wasn't always a DNR officer present. Twice I had to give up waiting to get my targets and leave because someone didn't want...
Yes they're the fourth Sunday so the next one would be Sept 22nd (weather permitting) which I just realized as I'm typing this I might be able to go to now. This month was my first time at a TSA match and I'm eagerly anticipating the next one I can get out to. I've been trying to talk co-workers...
