Damn... I had no idea there was so much to it... Maybe I need to do a bit more research on the subject. Maybe that's why my AR isn't shooting as accurately as I'd like it to. Thanks for the link!
That might also be true, but I thought frangibles were intended to shatter after just about anything they hit... Plus they're usually fairly cheap too, especially in .223...
Edit: NVM, About the cheapest frangibles I could find in .223 were $.50/rnd. Guess they're not that cheap after all...
I understand that it's not completely fully representing the eventualities at steak, but even hyper-inflation is recoverable. Look at Germany, for example. They're virtually the go-to case-study for hyper-inflation and they're doing a whole hell of a lot better than most countries today! What...
How do I become a site supporter? I find it odd it's so difficult to find a link...
Edit: NVM. I'm not really looking hard enough. On the other hand, it probably wouldn't hurt to add a button to the bottom of the page near the "Contact Us" link, etc...
Maybe, like in my family, there comes a time when we should slow down and stop buying so damn many guns... Some estimates put defense spending at nearly 50% of total spending, but sources seem to vary wildly on this assessment. All I know for sure is that our global presence seems vastly...
Has anyone heard of a semi-private range around here in N Manchester area? Someone told me you could pay a member's fee to use it any time you liked, but other than that I have no other leads on it...
I usually hit up Bass n Buck in Wabash or the Roush Lake range in Huntington, but I'd love to...
Unfortunately, I did not. They had a really cool store, some super neat stuff, but none of it was much up my alley. I was disappointed to see them go, they fixed a couple of watches for me on the cheap and they were always really nice...
I've used magpuls almost exclusively and I can tell you they're top-notch. The bump-plate alone is worth the extra $. They're mags you can keep loaded and not worry about, drop and not worry about, abuse, misuse, dirty, and toss around and never think twice about (until maybe they start to look...
I have a padded Vickers and can recommend it. The instant adjustability is pretty freaking awesome. Once you try it out, you instantly miss it on any other sling.
As for the padding, Honestly, I could take it or leave it. Here's a video of it in action to show you exactly what I'm talking about.
I've heard so many people sing the praises of CZ. They're just simply well-engineered. My biggest hangup about them is that the design hasn't changed much over the years. Although newer definitely does not mean better, I went with a Sig SP2022 in .40SW for my first handgun and I absolutely love...
