The lingering question is, what happens if it does stand, and a couple more states follow. He wasn't going to win Colorado anyway, but this sets a horrible precedent. Our entire system of government is based on free and open elections. If they take that away, I don't see how we survive as a nation.
We were there a couple months ago. I saw 1 sign in town, and 1 of the free moonshine tasting places had a reminder up not to drink if you were carrying, but other than that the only place I didn't carry was Dollywood. I could have, the only security was a basic bag check, but it was a long walk...
Thanks. I saw that, but really want a commander size in 9. When I started looking I didn't think anything custom would be in my price range. I'll reach out to Allen and see what he can do.
I currently carry a commander in .45. This will replace that as a carry and range gun. I have a budget for the gun, a red dot, and a couple of mags of about 3 grand.
A Staccato C2 has been my grail gun for a couple years now, ever since I got to try one a friend owned. I don't know how soon it will be, depends on how big my Christmas bonus is, but sooner or later I will be looking for a 2011.
So, should I stay with the Staccato, or is there something else...
I love this quote.
"What they don't understand is that they're so angry because, in their heart of hearts, they want this, but they can't let themselves have it. They're deeply unhappy, and so in their minds, everyone else has to be too."
It pretty much sums up everything liberal.
Congrats!
A C2 is my grail gun. I never should have shot one. Now everything else just feels not as good. I just have to figure out how to pay for one. Maybe I don't really need a new roof on the house....
Roush Lake range is close, I went there a lot when I lived in Ossian. There used to be a 100 yd range at the Ossian Conservation Club, but I haven't been there since I moved back to Fort Wayne. Depending on which part of the county you are in, Hillside in Roanoke might not be too far.
I started to make an appointment for the identigo site down the street from where I work, and they ask what the prints are going to be used for. None of the options are for sending to the ATF. I didn't see any mention of having them give you an electronic copy. You can have prints scanned and...
I am not opposed to screwing a barrel on, but I don't have a way to finish cut the chamber.
I can remember the good old days when every gun show had a couple of tables of M1 parts, with piles of surplus barrels of every make and condition. I miss those days.
I have a project Garand that needs a barrel. I was going to send it to Shuffs, but if I can support someone local and not have to go through the shipping hassle it would be easier. Any ideas on who could install and chamber a new barrel?
When I wanted to get back into a 1911 I asked Tim a bunch of stupid questions, and he gave me some pretty good answers. I ended up with this, and plans for Springfield to customize.
I do like the look of the LUDT. I will have to find one to look at. And thanks for the Blademan tip. They are pretty close, I need to go check them out.
I am planning to keep my Benchmade as a work knife, and carry a new one as something a little nicer looking. It will eventually go back to get rebuilt and sharpened again. It's really just an excuse to buy a new knife. :)
I do want another auto, I have a couple assisted openers, and like the...
I have been carrying the same knife for almost 20 years. I have been doing pretty well at work, and am thinking about a knew EDC blade. The requirements are not Benhmade, quality steel, durable auto opening mechanism, about a 3.5 inch blade, and made in USA.
This is what I'm retiring...
I have been carrying the same Benchmade auto for almost 20 years. It has been rebuilt a couple of times, but I use it every day to cut wires and hoses, open boxes, pry out fuses, etc, working on cars. I'm well past getting my moneys worth out of it. I've been thinking about replacing it with...
