I recently decided I was going to get back into fishing. I used to love cat fishing when I was in my teens and since I work the night shift and find myself bored and awake til 6am on the weekend I figure it will work out well.
A coworker told me about turtle creek and that it is infested...
I finally was able to find my full size m&p9 over the weekend at Whittakers and picked it up on Sunday. I have not had a chance to shoot it yet but I have high expectations. So far the only thing I can think of that I dislike is the trigger. Im really looking forward to shooting my dueling...
So Im in the process of building my own dueling tree. I have combined a few different methods that I have seen for sale. This one is going to be an 8 plate model attached to a 72in. piece of 3/8in. thick angle iron that is 3x3. All my metal is 3/8in thick if not 1/2. My question is on the choice...

I believe I have narrowed down my choices for my first pistol.
Product: Model M&P9 and Product: Model M&P9
So from the two I only notice a couple of differences. One has a 5in barrel and one has a 4.25in barrel. They both have difference sights and ones overall length is longer. Ill be...
What are the laws concerning transporting a rifle from Indiana to Kentucky? I have a friend that shoots at a place he knows in Kentucky and said I could shoot down there. Only place I know that I can really stretch my .308 out more than 850 yards.
My brother got his Colt Gold Cup Series .45 yesterday Colt Gold Cup® Series.
I wont have a chance to fire it for a couple months but it looks pretty sweet. Anyone here have one?
I have been wanting a lighter trigger pull on my Remington 700 since I bought it 3 years ago. I believe it has to be around 8lbs. I can place my rifle on a bench with the bipod on and a rear sandbag and slowly pull the trigger and the gun will slide backwards and not go off. I believe its...
I just finished neck sizing 30 fireformed cases. I notice that the bolt is hard to close. I am using Redding deluxe die set A series. Is that common? This was the first time neck sizing the cases. I assumed that it would take a couple firings before it would be hard to close the bolt.
Im about ready to start neck sizing my cases, finally had enough extra money to buy a 3 die set of redding dies. My question is will I need to rework a new load for neck only cases or will my results basically be the same or better? The rifle is a .308 175 SMKs 43.3 Varget.
So I was watching an episode of The Gun Nuts on the outdoor channel and they had a bit about hunting in some woods and using good earth to get yardage. It is precise enough to see the tree you are using for a treestand so that got me thinking. This would be a great tool to use for long range...
I went shooting today and I lost several brass cases due to total case failure. The rifle is a rem 700 .308. I have reloaded these cases several times (I lost count). The lower portion of the case sides, around 1/2 inch above the bottom of the cases totally separated or cracked more than 1/2...
I have been looking to buy a handgun, it will be my first. I was wanting to buy a XDM 40. I have handeled a couple of them and they felt great. The issue I had with them was the slide release. It was very uncomfortable to use.
So what are the best ambidextrous handguns at under $600?
Good morning everyone. I recently stumbled upon this site and was actually surprised that there was a site dedicated to firearms for Hoosiers with this much traffic. A little about myself. I just turned 25 years old. I currently live in Princeton, IN (25 min north of Evansville). I have...
