      Kitchen chair warning

      I'm full of good advice lately. Today my wife noticed scratches on our hardwood(fake) flooring. Turns out the sliders had worn away and we had bare nails remaining on the chair legs. D'oh. Home depot had some replacements so I ripped out the nails i could and applied new ones.

      Peeling quarter round

      Question for the DIYers or pros. We had stained wood cabinets that were stripped and then repainted. Getting a fair amount of chipping, mainly on the quarter round. I suspect it's from vacuum/mops mainly. How can I end up with black quarter-round that is chip resistant? I plan to redo...
