      Outside of a championship where does a shooter encounter a stage that challenges them if not at a "local" match? Seems like last cal matches need hard stages if you want lit cal shooters to be able to compete in regional matches....

      In regards to aiming, if you zero a rifle st 50 yards and you are in your home 10 yards away from a hostsgectaking bad guy, you better understand the hold up at 5-10 yards for that rifle or your POI is going to be low. Pistols too but by a much smaller amount.

      Quality brand pistols typically come with factory sites zeroed at 25 yards. The sites and muzzle do not come perfectly perpendicular. Using a pistol the dot in the center of the front site is the aiming point which creates a slight downward angle. You do not hold a pistol with a 6:00 hold/site...

      My brother has taken hogs with 6.8. Iirc this calibercwas developed to give operators (SEALs?) a high powered soft shooting large caliber. They ended up not really loving it but it's a nice option for a deer 300yds or closer imo

      Some good comments above. The worst classes I've had have been from real life bad asses with combat experience and all that but couldn't teach at all. I can shoot drills on my own. For free. If you want to be an instructor...Teach. Best of luck!
