I'm not sure the main spring is the one I'm after. i can't even find an accurate parts guide to confirm but i appreciate the help. if i stumble across a stock i'll let you know
I use CLP and recently ran it through a "stress test". It's been over 3 months and 1,000 rounds since my p226 has seen a cleaning and i haven't ran into any problems yet. It happens to be my EDC as well.
I am only able to hunt state land and haven't had a problem filling the freezer but I've also made it a point to use all my vacation time during firearm and muzzleloader season.

i've been using my index finger but with as compact as the weapon is, it ends up being more of a hassle for quick reloads. i plan on purchasing a sig 226 or m&p 40 in the near future to replace the firestar as my every day carry but it will still be nice to make my m40 ambi.
i have been searching around for a left handed mag release for a firestar m40 but haven't been having any luck. any ideas on where i can track one of these down at?
