I initially started out with a taurus 24/7 pro. It was very accurate and felt good in my hand but I could not get used to the extremly long trigger pull. I wish I would have spent a little more time and tried other guns to know what I really wanted. I sold it and bought a para ordnance LDA. I...
Both guns have issues with extracting the spent round after firing. I have been working with them and I am finally admitting that it is out of my league :(
I have 2 older rifles that I need some work done on them. The first one is a Winchester Model 100 and the second is a Mossber 353. I am looking for a good gunsmith that someone has used and had good luck with. I read the INDIANA GUNSMITH sticky post on here but I do not know which ones are good...
I have several rifles, both open sights and with scopes and none are as fun to shoot as my mosins. I am not sure if it is the fact that they were made 40 years before I was born or the fact that they are they simplest designed guns and yet as accurate as any other. Plus you can't beat only...
I handled and shot both including others before purchasing my sigs. For me the sig fit my hands better than any of the others. I have shot just as well with other brands but the sig feels the most natural to me and I believe that is a very important component to shooting.
It works very well considering I now have 3 mosins. She usually doesn't pick up on a new gun unless they look different from the ones I already own. Which is another reason I need alot more guns so she can't find my new ones!!!!!
Hahaha, I know better than that. I knew I never should have taught her how to shoot. Luckily I was smart enough not to show her how to load the guns:lol2:
I thought I the disease concured when I purchased my 91/30 and my m44 but I was wrong. I had someone offer me a m38 in decent condition and 840 rounds of ammo for $300.00 today. I tried to fight it but in the end I wasn't strong enough to withstand the addiction. Now I have to tell my wife and...
I am loading a flat based 55gr v-max bullet for my 22-250. Not sure if this is a good bullet for this gun but I am trying it. I did not flare the case mouth. Maybe I should have flared them, but they seemed to seat in ok without any problems.
Thanks, I was getting a little frustrated that the reloading manuals wouldn't say for sure :wallbash:. I knew I could count on getting good info from this site.
I am just getting into reloading for my rifles and the reloading manuals I have read aren't real clear as to what rounds need to be crimped or not. I am reloading 5.56 for my ar, 22-250 for a bolt action remington 700, and .308 for a semi-auto rifle. I have looked at several reloading manuals...
